There are probably more coffee shops per square foot here in Seoul than anywhere I’ve seen…maybe even more than Seattle. You see people walking with coffee everywhere.
One block from our office there are: two Starbucks, two Dunkin Donuts, and about 25 coffee shops that are either local or Korean. Most of the places, you can’t order a regular drip coffee so you order Americano and it costs $3. You can pay up to $5 or more. Even tea is often a few bucks. Surpisingly expensive!
