Seoul street food: Spiral potato kabob, bacon-wrapped hot dogs…

Also within a block of our hotel is more street food that I can ever hope to even test. Yesterday, I had the potato on a stick. Today, I had veggie fritters. Within a block, my street food choices include:

  • Hot dogs on a stick, spiral-wrapped with 1-2 pieces of bacon
  • Squid and other intriguing dried fish
  • Chestnuts (yes, they’re roasting on an open fire)
  • Small logs of sesame honey candy
  • Steamed buns filled with pomegranate jelly
  • Kimbap (small rolls, like sushi)
  • Potato spiral cut, put on a stick, and fried (yesterday, see photo)
  • Vegetable fritters with soy dipping sauce (today, see photo)
