Poem: That’s Not Me

2013-07 Thats Not Me DSC00727

The one you see

That’s not me

The job or the lack of it

The family or the lack of it

The money or the lack of it

The healthy body or the lack of it

That’s not me

Wanna see the real me?

See ‘we’

About the poem:
Identity theft is attaching your value as a human to any outer quality or feature, that can come and go over time.  When shit hits the fan, which it invariably does, don’t think your value is less than what it was yesterday. Don’t forget who you really are (which is  one, connected, immense, timeless, peace, love and joy.)

Shit happens, dude. Can you remain calm and kind through today’s daily ration? Remember, all that outer stuff that is happening…that’s not you! You are deeper.
