Poem: Layers of Red Rocks …a Haiku

2013-08-03 Red Rocks Saturday Morning (52)

Layers of red rocks
From a solid base, reach up,
Meet the blue, blue sky

About the poem:

A lovely Saturday morning at Red Rocks Amphitheater, near my home in Denver, Colorado. The palette of dark blue sky, red rocks and green pines always gets me. So simple, but so beautiful. It just felt great to be outdoors, exercising and enjoying the view with family. And it reminded me, that it is always from a place of being centered and grounded, that I can then excel and go for my dreams.
