Poem: Sherbet Sunset …a Haiku

About the poem:
I can’t explain why watching a colorful sunset puts me at ease. I don’t have to know scientifically, but it helps to note what calms me. It is my responsibility to be a calm, joyful presence so the first step is knowing what helps, and the next step is proactively including those healers in my life.

This photo was taken over Cheesman Park last night, one of the first calm days after the Colorado floods. Ahhhhh. Like a sherbet ice cream cone, it dripped all over the sky and I just wanted to devour it.
