Poem: Sweet Treat

2013-09-01 15.00.39

Dying for a little snack
My emotions want a full attack
The baby inside wants a treat
Just something sweet
Nature save me
Don’t let sugar enslave me
Give me your sassy strength
Keep junk food at arms length
Let me find a sweet treat
That is real
Some fruit or juice
Will seal the deal

About the poem:
I use mindfulness to keep me out of bad situations, e.g. the on-sale area at the bakery.
