Poem: Choose Peace …how can we honor MLK?

Violence seethes through the fabric of families, communities and countries
It is so widespread
It feels like it is the most basic composition of life
But it is not

Violence is a choice
Violence is a million choices
Violence is a reaction

Today, let us choose peace
Let us choose peace a million times
Let us choose peaceful action

About the poem:
When researching a little about Martin Luther King today, on the day we celebrate his life, I found the King Center’s call for 2014 to be the year to “Choose Nonviolence”.

If not now, when? I agree. How about now?
