Poem: Delicate and Green

Delicate and green
In the breeze
The tree that dances hula

Delicate and green
Balcony garden
Kale, parsley, and rosemary
Ready for me

About the poem:
Yesterday, I worked from home and it was so sweet to look out to my balcony and see the trees in full bloom swaying. And when I wanted a snack, I just went a’grazing with a leaf here or there of basil, kale, rosemary or a snip of parsley. Mini-salad but walkthrough, rather than drivethrough.  Such a contrast to the months of cold weather and bare trees!

How’s your garden growing?
