Poem: Wanting (NaPoWriMo 1)

Doubting, puzzling, and analyzing
Is so much more daunting
Than wanting

About the poem:
When I’m clear about what I want, crazy good sh!t happens to bring it in.

When I worked on the Tobacco Quitline, we learned to ask people, “Why do you want to quit?” The more they identified with those BIG wants, the little wants (cigs) went away.

If you’re fighting a compulsive behavior or an addiction, remind yourself what you want (not what you can’t have).
