Poem: Seat Mate (NaPoWriMo 14)

The one your pour your heart out to
The one you pass the pretzels to
The one who asks you to get up
So they can use the loo

Why do you become my fast friend
Who I will never speak to again
Say goodbye at the gate
Goodbye, my seat mate

About the poem:

Isn’t it weird when this happens? Why do we make fast friends with a complete stranger? It is because we know we probably never will talk to them again? To me, it proves that I could probably be friends with just about anyone in the world, if we had a few hours to sit next to each other.
